Time for Reflection…

Merry Christmas from the crew at CLC Tree Services! We all deserve a little down time and so do you. We will be out soon enough taking down all the Christmas decorations for our clients, so are taking this time to unwind. In that spirit, we wanted to share some of our favourite moments and posts from the last year. With only 4 days left in 2013, it is the perfect time for a little reflection;

      Fir trees were popular around the blog this year. 5 Facts about Fir Trees may have been written in 2012, but it had 830 hits in the last year. I suspect that Christmas had a little something to do with that.

    • This post has a long history as well. The “Mile-A-Minute” Vine was written in July 2011, but had 467 views in the last year. It might be number 2 in the last year, but the post all about kudzu was number one in views for all time with 3850 posts and counting. Who would have guessed that kudzu was so popular?
    • While this post hasn’t been around as long as some, it was one of the most popular posts written in 2013. Homemade Tree Costumes impressed enough people to get 164 views since October of this year. Who wouldn’t want to dress up like a tree?

All part of the job at the Annual OCAA Day of Service

  • One of our favourite days out this year was captured in Day of Service: For the Kids. The crew from CLC Tree Services volunteered for the OCAA Annual Day of Service out at the Easter Seals Camp Woodeden site. It was another fabulous day that meant a lot to everyone involved and we were thrilled to be a part of it.
  • One of the days that our crew might prefer to forget was back in August when they came across a particularly nasty plant that left behind its own reminders. The post One, Two, Three; Don’t Touch Me was all about poison ivy. I am sure that Calvin remembers the encounter that led to this post, even though he would gladly forget the event.

What are your favourite memories from CLC Tree Services blog this past year? Is there any topics you would like to see us cover next year? Please share!
