Q: Why was the tree excited for spring?
A: He wanted to turn over a new leaf.
Isn’t that the truth! Me too. And up until this morning it was looking like Spring had arrived. Despite the snow that has fallen in London, Ontario again though, I have a feeling that spring is not far off. All the area sugar bushes are tapping their trees, as the sap is flowing. If you take a close look at a tree or two, you’ll notice that buds are there. They are just waiting for a few more warm days so that they can ‘POP’. And suddenly it will be Spring!
In the interim perhaps we should lighten up. A little levity might be just the thing to have us laughing our way into Spring. Just as a reminder, it officially arrives next week! Enjoy the tree humour!
