Welcome to CLC Tree Services: The Blog!

Well, it seems that the time has come at last for CLC Tree Services to get with the times. So today we strike out into the world of blogging. Welcome to the new home of CLC Tree Services: The Blog.

There has been much talk that Social Media is the wave of the future. We hope that you have visited our website and learned something about us, but here is where you will get a bigger picture of who and what CLC Tree Services is all about. For despite our name, we offer an awful lot more than just servicing your trees.

CLC Tree Services began over twenty years ago. The company was founded by Curt McCallum and took its name from his first initial, and the initials of his two sons, Luke and Calvin. While Curt began his business as a part-time endeavour, his attention to detail and excellent customer service skills shone through. There were busy times and also leaner times, but eventually the boon periods led to Curt taking up the CLC business on a full-time basis. With his family behind him, he stepped into the business with a passion.

That passion is what helped to expand CLC from exclusive tree services, to the recent addition of Crescent Moon Lightscaping and Christmas Decor Services, to their array of talents. At present, the CLC team includes six employees, of which both Luke and Calvin are proud to number themselves.

If you have not had a chance to see the services that CLC Tree Services offers, I encourage you to visit the website here. While outdoor lighting, Christmas decor, and a wide range of tree maintenance options are available, there are too many services to highlight here. As the weeks and months go by, we hope to highlight some of the services that we specialize in though, and help you to improve your landscaping needs. There will be helpful hints, general knowledge, and hopefully a funny story or two to share with you. We hope that you enjoy our venture into the world of social media, and come back to visit us often to see what we have in store for you.
